8(a) STARS III is a proven contract vehicle that provides a low risk, streamlined acquisition process for IT services. I-Tech, a Wood River Federal company was awarded both STARS III focused scope sub-areas: Emerging Technologies (ET) and IT services Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). As an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC), I-Tech can receive sole-source task order awards up to $25M for Federal Civilian agencies and $100M for Department of Defense (DoD) customers through 8(a) STARS III.

8(a) Sole Source
All Federal agencies are able to procure requirements through the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) program. Awarded contracts can be definitive projects or more loosely defined ID/IQ requirements. 8a contracts can be sole sourced without a J&A up to $100M for the Department of Defense and $25M for all other Federal agencies.
